Appreciate With Gratitude

What I know is that we are never separate from the Divine, Universe, Creator, The Great Spirit and whatever name you call this energy that surrounds us, that flows through us and is us. This mighty force is an expression of God in action. We are told that we are made in the image and likeness of God, Thus, we are God ourselves expressing as this Divine. As such, we are great and powerful Spiritual beings first and foremost. There is nothing we lack, cannot do and be. Why then are many always supplicating in prayer when we simply need to appreciate with gratitude? Remember where you are, God is.
