Detachment

I am sure at one point you have heard the word of detachment in a spiritual sense. Yet some of you may not really know what that is or how to apply it. In my point of view, this is when there is something or someone that you are holding on to for your own personal gain or reasons. You may be finding you are doing this out of fear, or even guilt. In my own case, I have found that when you love someone, you hold on to that person thinking in your little mind that that person will change, come back or love you the way you feel they need to love you. So, you hold on. The truth of the matter is, when you seek these things in another or in a situation, you are holding back the very goodness the other is trying to do for themselves and that they have stepped on into their own path to do what is best for them in their own mind and their own concept of love. This is not your judgment to try to make what you think is right. It is just Divine order. When you have to ask, beg or manipulate in some form, then what is happening is not love, it is fear and conditions you are creating with expectations. When you find yourself truly loving this someone or something, do so with unconditional love and without putting forth expectations. If it is meant to be loving and nurturing for both you and them or it, then as water, it will seek itself on its own. So, detaching and practicing this is indeed an absolute act of one of the highest orders of love itself. Difficult for some, yes. Also not easy to accept, absolutely. Yet when administered in life, there is a great peace and understanding that resonates within, this feeling is only cradled and embraced with the Divine/Spirits goodness. Thus, you my friend are never alone, just one and you are the expression itself of Love, as it is the Key in all of life everywhere.
Peace and Abundant Blessings always in all ways. Much love.
