The Quiet Within

There is this story about Yellow-headed blackbirds returning to an area each spring. Yellow headed blackbirds? Yeah, I thought the same, but they do exist! Anyhow, these birds in fact congregate in a large tree, squawking noisily, discussing, only things I can possibly imagine. Perhaps their adventures in getting there and such. Though, it came to a point where it was known that one day they would be seen occasionally, so their presence was most welcomed and truly enjoyed. Although, there were some people there that were annoyed with these beautiful creatures of God. This annoyance prompted others to pay attention to these birds. In so doing it was noticed that the birds would become quiet periodically. Completely still. Coincidentally, this would happen when some in this small community would actually take a moment in their time to treat/pray on this. So, why am I sharing this particular story? I believe this is sort of what some may be faced with in life from time to time. You see, that the birds in their splendid glory too must be praying or treating, and then I myself realize with this little story that every aspect of life, birds, humans and even the soil beneath our feet that we take for granted and walk on, has its own quiet time, moments when stillness is rejuvenating, refreshing, and recharging the very essence within. It is with this that nature innately knows when quiet time is. Moments to rest from the ordinary, from doing and from anything that may seem to not serve us in our highest good at the moment. Every single creature knows when to sleep, when it is too hot or too cold to be active. This too is a natural process for us as well. We can also choose to have quiet time. In the quiet, we then open ourselves to the Divine, the Creator, to Spirit and we know Oneness. We then release that which is false, and recognize Truth. This quiet contemplation brings to us harmony, health, and balance to our life. It is a wonderful blessing to choose these quiet moments to rest and revitalize our very soul. Today dear sweet friend, make time to have a quiet moment and listen to God/Spirit within. For me, I am off of work, on my quiet time with a much needed STAYcation until I return on April 12th. I hope this message finds a place within yourself that resonates with the inner truth that always resides in you.
Peace and Abundant Blessings always in all ways. Much love!
